In the HGF research programme "BioInterfaces in Technology and Medicine", the Institute of Biomaterial Science at Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht (HZG) contributes complementary expertise in polymer chemistry and biological evaluation. Furthermore, their strategic alliance with the Berlin-Brandenburg Center for Regenerative Therapies (BCRT, jointly operated clinical translation centre of Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin and HZG/Teltow) complements our existing cooperation with clinical scientists.
